Happy Memorial Day

I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday. I just finished transplanting the last of my seedlings. It's perfect weather for it. Overcast, cool, and just the hint of rain.

Yes... I know it's kind of late in the season for transplanting but I had some gaps in my garden where some of the previous inhabitants didn't survive and thought I would throw the last to me baby plants out in the wild to see if I could keep this set alive. 

Anyway, here I sit with a nice cup of tea and I finally had a chance to finish up a FREEBIE that I've been working on and got it uploaded to share.

Saturday, May 2, 2009, is National Scrapbooking Day. Isn't it wonderful to have a holiday to celebrate our favorite hobby? How are you planning to spend the day?

Journaling:

All winter long I’ve watched the dogwood tree in our front yard sit lonely and barren. It’s stood faithfully through all of the snow storms and bitter cold we had here in the Midwest. I was worried that the unseasonably bad weather we had in early April was going to take it’s toll on the flowers but... as you can see (well the picture doesn’t do it justice) it’s blossomed out and, well, what can I say, the beautiful view outside my kitchen window almost —  let me emphasis ALMOST — makes me look forward to doing the dishes!
